New England Bluet (Enallagma laterale)

Habitat: Heavily vegetated ponds. Local and uncommon in NY and NJ. Small lateral mark on abdominal segment 8. Lighter in appearance than Pine Barrens Bluet with more blue on abdomen and wider shoulder stripe. 1 - 1.1 inches.
